I’m kind of in love with my middle name. A few other things I’m in love with: the color pink, chocolate, plush blankets, and laughing…a lot.
I’m a podcast listener, book reader, fair-weather 5K runner, and lover of Jesus. The best compliment I’ve ever received is being called a Human Ray of Sunshine. I spend most my days trying to convince people that Slytherin is the strongest Hogwarts house and that iced mocha is my blood type.
My favorite people are my family and my boyfriend Derek, who has baby blue eyes that will stop you in your tracks. Luckily, he doesn’t mind that I stare at him <3
I firmly believe that time and Taylor Swift can heal all wounds, the importance of chips and queso cannot be understated, and you can learn something new every day.
Welcome to my blog, and my life.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column][vc_separator color=”custom” accent_color=”#cecece”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row disable_element=”yes”][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”4290″ img_size=”369×277″ alignment=”center” image_hovers=”false”][vc_column_text]Hi there! So….I got my wisdom teeth removed on Friday. I consider myself fairly lucky in the fact that my recovery has gone quite well. For me, the first day was the worst day because of the anesthetic. Three days later, I’m finally back on solid foods, and I’m off pain pills. I couldn’t really talk about my…

So I sat down to write tonight, fully intending to finish my “Best of 2016” post. But then I popped in the movie The Longest Ride to accompany my writing, and ummmm, Scott Eastwood is on the screen. So I got a little bit distracted because hello, have you seen Scott Eastwood? Then I decided I might…

First off, watch this: [youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zGTZnx4LuPs&w=560&h=315] If that doesn’t tell you all you need to know, then continue reading. I mean, obviously I want you to continue reading anyway, but I would understand if you don’t. I barely made it through both hours. A few months ago I watched The Bachelor finale. It was…an experience. See my thoughts here.…

My cousin Payton came to my house and helped me with a few things. When she noticed that I’d only blogged once all month long, she told me I needed to blog more. So I asked her if she would blog with me. I found those questions people asked their kids that were circulating facebook…

I. Love. Christmas. One of my favorite parts about the season (and one of my favorite parts about life) is all the Christmas movies! Of course I have a fondness for a few of the classic favorites (the original Miracle on 34th St, It’s a Wonderful Life, The Santa Clause, Home Alone, Elf), but what really makes…
